ZERO BREEZE Mark 3 planned cooling test

Yukon Delta Nomad • Planned equipment test
Portable cooling for a small cruising boat
We are planning the cabin cooling system for our 1982 Yukon Delta 25 rebuild. The ZERO BREEZE Mark 3 is a portable air conditioner we are considering for a practical onboard test. We also hope to compare its use in our vintage 22-foot RV.

Why it interests us
The portable, dual-hose design could let us assess cabin cooling without taking up space on the walkable roof. ZERO BREEZE lists the Mark 3 at 5,280 BTU, 22 lb, with a 48V DC system. Those are manufacturer specifications; we have not independently tested cooling performance aboard the boat.
What we plan to document
- Fit, ventilation, power supply, and setup in the rebuilt boat cabin
- Measured cabin temperatures, electrical use, and practical operating limits
- Setup and performance in our vintage RV
- Our experience after repeated use, including any problems
The Mark 3 is a portable cooling option. Our planned test will assess its suitability for our spaces; we are not presenting it as a replacement for a fixed marine or RV air conditioning system.
